Currently, we have committed to choose the Jambi Province as a starter province where is located at the “crossroads” between Asia and Oceania, the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. The new International Seaport is the “throat” of this intersection in the Strait of Malacca. The total length is about 900 kilometers, and the narrowest point is only 37 kilometers.
The strategic position is very important. More than 80% of the crude oil demand in the entire East Asian region needs to pass through the Strait. Jambi have rich natural resources include gold mines, iron ore, marble mines, acacia woods, palm, rubber plantations, and agricultural products include betel nut, coconut, coffee beans, patchouli, cinnamon, tea, potatoes, tobacco, sweet corn, honey, rice, cattle, sheep and chickens. There are also clear mineral water and from the mountain to various rivers.
As appointed by Government of Merangin, Jambi Province, Rota has committed to bring potential overseas investors and traders on the following development agendas listed below;
- Assist Merangin & other districts in Jambi Province for financing establishment of infrastructure, including the rail way from Merangi to Jambi Ujung Jabung; Expansion of Muara Sabak Port;
- Join Venture for establishment of Jambi International Sea Port, Ujung Jabung.
- Assist Merangin & other districts in Jambi Province for developing value chain of main commodities for export purposes, especially in agriculture and mining sectors.
- Designing and developing an Industrial Zone and a Free Trade Zone to advance business interests in Merangin & other districts in Jambi Province;
- Improve employment opportunities for local people;
- Assist Jambi & Merangin Geopark in becoming a distinctive tourist destination;
- Innovate the Permitting Process as a One–Stop regulatory system;
- Assist in the issuance of Qualifying Certificates for applicable investors;
- Creation of Technology & Financial Stock Exchange Center;
- Establish a Regional Center for EB–5 investment in Jambi Province;
